Today’s episode is the first of many!! Very excited to announce a new addition to the Vive Nutrition Radio Cast - Antonio Castillo!

Antonio is a fellow registered sports dietitian, and former fueling coordinator for the MLB Franchise Toronto Blue Jays! He is here to enlighten us in English and Spanish with his dominican “Sazon” and contribute to the wealth of nutrition knowledge.

Chit Chat Series will be conversation dissecting simple and complex nutrition topics from the perspective of two RD.

The First topic of course is PROTEIN! There are a lot conversation about protein yet sometimes we fail to understand the basics so that is where we will start. In today’s episode we cover the basis of protein, function and types, sources, and importance of timing for the gains!
